Bob Coffee Lab

Bob Coffee Lab is a unique café located in Bucharest, Romania. It was co-founded by Alexandru Niculae and Paul Ungureanu, who are both recognized figures in the international coffee scene. The café is situated in an old Romanian-style villa at Charles de Gaulle square, near Herastrau Park, which is considered the green “lungs” of the Romanian capital.

The café is known for its minimalist design and small yet spacious interior. The walls harmonize with the outside facade, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Bob Coffee Lab is more than just a café; it’s also a roastery where coffee beans are roasted to perfection. The café offers a variety of coffee drinks, and the co-owners place a strong emphasis on quality, hospitality, and knowledge.

Quality is essential at Bob Coffee Lab, especially when it comes to coffee beans and the roasting process. The same attention is given to water and milk, aspects that are yet to be considered by many upcoming cafés. The water system is provided by GC Water, a leader in customized water solutions, while the milk for the café comes directly from a local farmer, located a couple of kilometers outside of Bucharest.
